This page explains how content on chickensaladchickmenu.onl is researched, written, reviewed and corrected. We publish it because a menu site that will not tell you where its numbers come from is not worth reading, and because you should be able to judge our work against a stated standard.
How we source information
Prices
Prices are compiled from multiple published sources covering different US markets, cross-referenced against third-party ordering platforms, and published as a midpoint. They are explicitly not quotes. Where sources diverge by more than roughly 15%, we say so on the page rather than silently picking one.
This matters because nearly every Chicken Salad Chick restaurant is franchise-owned and sets its own menu board prices. A 10–20% spread between markets is normal and expected. Delivery apps add a further 15–25% markup. There is no single correct national price for any item on this menu, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Nutrition and calorie data
We publish a calorie figure only where at least two independent sources agree. Where they do not, we publish a range. Where no reliable data exists at all — per-item sodium is the clearest example — we say that explicitly rather than filling the gap.
All calorie figures on this site are quoted per standard serving (a 4 oz scoop), and we state that. A great deal of the contradiction you will find between menu sites comes from silently comparing a scoop to a 16 oz container.
Brand and company facts
Founding dates, ownership history, executive names, location counts, the secret seasoning ingredients and the loyalty programme name are taken from company press releases, the company's own published customer FAQ, and established trade press. Where two sources conflict, we prefer the primary one and note the conflict if it is material.
What we will not do
- Invent precision. A number that looks authoritative but is not sourced is worse than an honest range.
- Repeat unverifiable claims. Detailed biographies of individual flavor namesakes, exact loyalty redemption tiers, and “secret menu” items appear widely online. We could not verify them, so we do not publish them.
- Fake freshness. Putting the current month in a title over content nobody has reviewed is a common practice on menu sites. Every page here carries a genuine verification date.
- Accept payment to change content. No paid guest posts, no sponsored links inside editorial text, no paid placements — regardless of what the site is funded by.
- Present ourselves as official. Every page carries an independence disclaimer.
Review and update cycle
Price and menu pages are reviewed on a rolling basis, with priority given to pages covering items that change most often — prices, seasonal flavors and hours. Structural guides such as portion sizes change rarely and are reviewed less frequently.
The verification date shown at the top of each page reflects the last time a human actually checked that page's content against sources. If it looks old to you, weight the content accordingly — that is what the date is for.
Corrections policy
If we publish something wrong, we fix it. The process:
- A correction is reported through the contact form, or found in our own review.
- We check it against available sources. For price corrections, the city and state are essential — a price that is wrong in Dallas may be right in Birmingham.
- Confirmed errors are corrected and the page's verification date updated.
- Where an error was material — a wrong allergen statement, a substantially wrong price, an incorrect factual claim about the company — we note the correction on the page rather than changing it silently.
Use of AI tools
We use software tools in research and drafting, as most publishers now do. Every page is directed, fact-checked and edited by a person before publication, and the sourcing standards above apply regardless of what tools were used to produce a first draft. We do not publish unreviewed machine-generated text, and we do not publish content whose factual claims have not been checked against a source.
Independence and funding
This site currently carries no advertising and no affiliate links. We receive no payment from Chicken Salad Chick, its franchisees, its competitors, or any delivery platform, and we hold no affiliate relationships with any business mentioned on this site.
If display advertising is introduced in future it will be clearly labelled, kept visually separate from editorial content, and served by third-party networks whose specific adverts we do not control. It will never buy influence over what a page says. This page will be updated before any such change takes effect.
The limits of what we can tell you
We are an independent site reading public sources. That gives us the freedom to say when data is unreliable, which an official source has no reason to do. It also means there are things we simply cannot know: what happened in a particular kitchen this morning, what your local franchisee charged this week, or whether a specific item is safe for a specific allergy.
