Independent guide — not the official Chicken Salad Chick site

About

About This Site

An independent guide to one restaurant's menu, written by people who got tired of price pages that never said where their numbers came from.

chickensaladchickmenu.onl is an independent reference site about one restaurant chain's menu. That is the whole remit. We are not a food blog, we do not sell anything, and we have no relationship of any kind with Chicken Salad Chick.

Why this site exists

If you search for a restaurant menu online, you will find a dozen pages that all look the same: a wall of price tables, no sourcing, a date in the title that does not match the content underneath, and calorie figures that contradict each other by 40% without anybody mentioning it.

We started this because those pages consistently failed to answer the questions we actually had. How big is a scoop, in ounces? Why does the price differ from the next town over? Which flavors have nuts in them? Is it open on Sunday or not — because four sites give three different answers. None of that is hard to research. It is just that nobody was bothering.

How we approach it

Three rules, and we hold to them even when it makes a page less tidy.

1. We say where numbers come from

Prices are researched midpoints compiled across multiple US markets and cross-checked against third-party ordering platforms. They are not quotes, and we say so on every page that carries them. Nearly every Chicken Salad Chick is franchise-owned and sets its own prices — a spread of 10–20% between markets is normal. Anyone publishing a single exact national price for this chain is presenting a guess with more confidence than it deserves.

2. We publish gaps rather than filling them

Where sources disagree, we give a range. Where no reliable data exists — per-item sodium, most seasonal-item nutrition, the exact points-to-reward conversion in the loyalty programme — we say that plainly instead of inventing a number that looks authoritative.

The same applies to brand facts. The chicken salad flavors are named after real women in the founder's life; that much is confirmed by the founder herself. The detailed biographies of individual namesakes you will find on other sites are not verifiable, so we do not repeat them.

3. Every page carries a verification date

Menus change. Prices change faster. Every page on this site states when it was last checked, and if that date is old, you should weight the content accordingly. We would rather show you a stale date honestly than put “August 2026” in a title over content nobody has looked at since last year.

Who writes this

The site is written and maintained by a small independent editorial team that researches restaurant menu data. We are readers of this restaurant rather than insiders — which is a limitation, and also the reason we can tell you when published data is unreliable. An official source has no incentive to do that.

How the site is funded

At present this site carries no advertising and no affiliate links. If display advertising is introduced in future, it will be clearly labelled, served by third-party ad networks, and kept separate from editorial content — advertisers will have no input into what we write.

What will not change: we do not take payment from Chicken Salad Chick, its franchisees, or any competitor, and we hold no affiliate relationship with any restaurant or delivery platform mentioned on this site. If any of that ever changes, we will say so on this page before it changes anywhere else.

What this site is not

  • Not official. We are not Chicken Salad Chick, not affiliated with them, not endorsed by them. If you need to contact the restaurant, use their official channels.
  • Not an ordering service. You cannot place an order through this site, and we cannot help with a problem with an order you placed elsewhere.
  • Not medical advice. Our nutrition and allergen pages are research summaries. If you have a diagnosed allergy or a medical dietary requirement, ask the restaurant for their official information.

The limits of what you should rely on this site for are set out in full in our disclaimer, and the rules for using the site — including how third-party trademarks are handled here — are in the terms and conditions.

Corrections

If a price is wrong, a flavor has changed, or a location's hours have moved, please tell us. Corrections to factual errors are made promptly and, where the error was material, noted on the page. Our full editorial policy explains the process in detail.

If you are simply looking for something specific, the sitemap lists every page on this site grouped by section, with a line on each saying what it actually covers.
